Seek relief for stress urinary incontinence and vaginal tightening with our non-invasive laser treatment

As women age, relaxing of the vaginal wall can result in vaginal relaxation syndrome (VRS), which is exacerbated by childbirth, mainly multiple pregnancies and deliveries, and the vaginal atrophy is also associated with menopause-related hormonal changes. VRS can lead to both physical and psychological problems. A major one of which is the reducing of sexual satisfaction for both the female and her partner, often referred to as “loose vagina”.

Urinary Incontinence (UI) is another symptom linked with VRS, either of the stress or urge type, and can be irritating or totally debilitating. The quality of life of affected women can decreases as they become more hesitant to participate in any social activities or even to work because of the humiliation of an unpredictable and involuntary loss of urinary control. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the USA, womens are twice as likely to experience UI condition as opposed to males.

We are proud to offer this service at both our downtown Toronto and North York locations and are happy to service customers from the Mississauga area.

VRS AND SUI TREATMENT

The IntimaLase™ procedure is a revolution in the world of laser vaginal rejuvenation. Studies have shown that it is one of the most efficient, easy-to-perform, and safest procedures to tighten the vaginal canal. The treatment tightens the walls of the vaginal tissues through precisely placed laser pulses in order to promote the body’s own collagen production.

STRESS URINARY INCONTINENCE (SUI)

The Incontilase is a new, non-invasive approach to treat Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI). This is a common problem in women that causes the involuntary loss of urine during coughing, sneezing, laughing, or physical exertion such as running or climbing stairs. 94% of women reported that their SUI improved significantly after 120 days of treatment, while 68% were completely free of SUI.

HOW DOES INCONTILASE™ & INTIMALASE™ WORK?

The laser has a photo thermal heating effect on collagen in both the vaginal walls and the urethra which causes restructuring and regrowth of the collagen. This results in thickening and tightening of the vaginal walls and urethra to improve atrophy and prevent urine loss.
This simple, non-surgical, 30 minute,in-office procedure is highly effective, pain free and safe.

POST TREATMENT

Immediately following the procedure you can resume your daily routine with no downtime.
There may be minimal sensitivity after the procedure and a transparent discharge for 2-3 days afterwards. Sexual intercourse is not recommended for 1 week after the procedure.
